It is a pressing matter when the lifts in your building are out of order and have been for a relatively long period of time. It might not seem like an issue when you live on one of the lower floors, but when you live on the top floor and have to walk up flights of stairs, carrying heavy bags that are about to split, and your tins of Heinz beans come tumbling down behind you, reaching your home can leave you feeling like you’ve just climbed Mount Everest; it’s probably not an ideal situation. Immediate action should be taken when it comes to any form of lift services.
The Condo Tower in St. Louis is a nine storey tower with over 100 residents living there, who have unfortunately been without a lift since Christmas and no one seems to be in a rush to get the situation sorted. Apparently the owners of the building can’t afford to pay for the lift repairs, which puts them in a rather sticky situation and it also means the residents could also be evicted from their homes. Let’s hope this isn’t the case. Although the owners are the ones in fault, the lift company who owns the lifts should be pushing them to get them repaired as soon as possible; Elevators Ltd would anyway.
