We’ve seen some things in our times and not all of them have been lift related, but this is an extreme and beyond dare devil standards.
Now, it’s not every day that you see a gentleman scrambling up a 1,083ft high elevator is it? The Bailong elevator is the tallest lift in the world and it is also known as the ‘Hundred Dragons Elevator’ in Zhangijayie, China. In fact, this is how humongous this lift is. It can take up to 2 and a half hours for people to walk from the ground floor, right through to the top floor. Wow! That’s a workout on its own! We’re tired just thinking about it. Lift maintenance would be a fun job to complete on this elevator.
The lift engineers are clearly as passionate as we are here at Elevators Ltd about lift maintenance and other lift services. Saying that, we’re not quite sure how our lift engineers would feel about carrying out maintenance on this lift. It’s pretty darn high and they certainly wouldn’t be climbing it harness free, like the French dare devil Jean-Michael Casanova, who by the way did it in a whopping 68 minutes. Spider Man or what?
