We may sound like your parents here, but it is always important to wash hands even if you haven’t been doing anything. Bacteria can spread like fleas and the last thing you want to do is to inherit food poisoning because the cook hasn’t washed their hands before dealing with food, or you simply just become ill. It’s hard to imagine hospitals being one of the most hygienic places to visit due to all the bacteria and germs floating around, but did you know the elevator buttons in hospitals carry more germs than a toilet seat?
There is anti-bacterial hand gels scattered around hospitals and we always make sure that we use them when we see them. Fortunately, our lift engineers are well cleaned and hygienic, so you don’t have to worry about them spreading germs when they come round to complete a lift installation or lift maintenance work. They’re tidy too, so you don’t even have to worry about them making a mess whilst they’re working on the elevator. We do have a good bunch of engineers working for Elevators Ltd; they’re a friendly bunch too.
So if you are off visiting a relative or friend in hospital, please remember to wash your hands at any opportunity and if see the anti-bacterial hand gel, use it! In the meantime, if you would like some more information about our lift installation or lift maintenance, or any other services that we offer for that matter, please get in touch with Elevators Ltd today.
