Any lifts that are used to transport passengers or goods are duty bound under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 to be checked and tested regularly. Indeed, Regulation 9 of LOLER states that ‘all lifts provided for use in work activities are thoroughly examined by a competent person at regular intervals.’ Contact us to complete your lift inspection or consider a maintenance package that includes lift inspection as routine.

LOLER regulations mean that as a property owner or facilities manager you have a legal responsibility to ensure that the lift is thoroughly examined and that it is safe to use.

Elevators Ltd inspection and maintenance services ensure that property owners have peace of mind that their property is maintained and functioning to the required standards, our testing and inspection services come in three sections. They are:

  • Thorough Inspection (LOLER)
  • Health and Safety Audits
  • Supplementary Testing
  • Condition Reports

Thorough Inspection

Carried out every six months for passenger-carrying lifts and once a year for goods only lifts, these inspections are completed by experienced and professional lift engineers who will examine all the essential safety aspects of your lift system and report any defects

Health and Safety Audits

We will carry out professional and extensive Health and Safety audits of the lifts and advise you of any compliance issues.

Condition Reports

Combining both features mentioned above, our Condition Reports offers you a full insight into the condition of every aspect of your installation. Our condition reports can detail whether your equipment complies with Health and Safety and Accessibility legislation and any reasons behind poor performance along with making recommendations for any future refurbishment or upgrade works. Allowing informed decisions to be made about the possible repair or replacement of equipment.

We provide our testing and inspection service for customers across London and surrounding areas to the South Coast.
