What is lift modernisation?
An outdated elevator interior can make passengers question the safety of its mechanics even though the entire system may be fit for use. After all, general wear and tear is something that regular maintenance is put in place to prevent. With this said, it is important that property owners make the best first impression and an aesthetical elevator interior is a popular way to do so. Here at Elevators Ltd, we offer our clients a high-quality lift modernisation service that implements attractive features and modern designs in order to create an interior that passengers will love. In fact, it is a popular service used by hotels, restaurants and other businesses that cater to the general public.
The SE18 Project
The Elevators Ltd team are proud to say that we were invited to work on a major modernisation project for SE18 which involved working on one of five passenger lifts. Our expertly trained engineers worked hard in order to design an interior that was both functional and aesthetical, refurbishing the interior of the cab and adding depth with the use of wooden panels. In addition to this, we also ensured that the elevator was compliant with the Equality Act 2010 by installing a sturdy handrail and waist height buttons. Due to the positive outcome of this project, the Elevators Ltd team are also looking to carry out further work for SE18, with the implementation of a further four modernisations as well as the installation of four new passenger elevators and three brand-new platform lifts.
Many property owners take great pride in the design of their cab which is why lift modernisation is an incredibly popular service that we offer here at Elevators Ltd. After all, an outdated lift may cause passengers to question the safety of the mechanics!
